We have Caesarstone and love it. It is totally
easy maintenance, and we've had no problems at all (though I can only speak from 6 months' experience). I'd make the same choice again.

By the way, we have Zodiaq in our master bath and I like it equally well. I think with quartz the quality among brands is similar, but it's a matter of finding the color you like.

I live overseas and caeserstone is very very common in my locale. It has been in every rental I've lived in over the past 9 years, and even in these rental apts. where the tenants could not care less about the upkeep, the counters have always looked great.

We have quartz (from a different brand) and it is great! Easy maintenance, no chips or cracks, no stains or anything!

This is my 2nd kitchen with caesarstone ; I sometimes get stains that require a bit of more elbow grease and softscrub, and a good rinse. I change my microfiber cloths constantly during the day, I have a few very tiny scratches around the sink.

I've had a few kitchens with granite, it definitely is easier to maintain, specially the spotty ones : I had a condo with nero impala granite and it showed everything.

I like the look of caesarstone for it's slickness, and don't mind the extra maintenance, you're talking a few seconds more. I don't set hot pots on it nor do I cut on it .

I've had my white Caesarstone for about a year and I have had no issues. In fact, I love it. It's on our perimeter counters as well as our kitchen table surface. I just use soap and water and an occasional spray of watered down rubbing alcohol. The occasional stains such as blue pen (don't ask!) and smushed berries, come right out with soft scrub w/bleach. My DH and DS are the dishwashers and they occasionally bonk a plate on the counter as they are loading the dishwasher and though it makes me cringe, we have had no chips or damage as a result. I don't put pots from the stove or oven directly on it so I haven't tested its heat resistance.

BTW, I also ran into that 3rings website with the horrible reviews of CS as I was doing my research. I thought it was a bit odd that ALL the reviews were so horrible and it made me a bit suspicious. Other websites--like this one-- seemed more trustworthy in that many people post with their varying experiences and it's easier to sort what might be spam or fake reviews.

Caesarstone is one of the best quartz products out there. I have been selling the product for 10 years or so and have never had a complaint.

We have one year old Caesarstone countertops and I love them. No chipping. I also had a great experience with their regional sales person, the surfaces had stains when they were installed and she made it right. I loved the customer service and the product.

The edges can chip, especially a square edge. That can be minimized with an eased edge. I suggest you get samples and abuse them.

This thread is about any quartz, not just C-stone. There are many competitors. I'm throwing it out there for the record.

We have black galaxy Zodiaq counters and it will be 3 years in December.

No scratches (that I can see) and I cut on it sometimes.

I have sat hot pots on it at times too. No damage.
It's actually rated to take up to a fair heat, even though they tell you to use a trivet.
Maybe not red hot pots.

One chip on the edge that mysteriously appeared shortly after the electrician installed lights over the peninsula.
I swear he dropped a tool!
It wasn't there at install, and then a week later, *chip*!

But we have not yet had chipped sink edges that some complain about.

It's easy to clean. I'd get it again.

Bad: it's very cold and tends to draw heat out of plates and cups. But so does any stone. Good for rolling dough.
