Kitchen flooring- wood look tile - please post pictures

I'm really considering Woodlook tile in the kitchen and dining room could you please post pictures of your finished products .

I have Trafficmaster Allure in my hallway and both bathrooms, the baths are a lighter color. We will be extending the darker one into the kitchen in the near future, and I can't wait! They are a plank laminate, 1'x3' long, also a floating floor, and my husband had no problem putting them in. We installed the downstairs bathroom right over the old vinyl, no need to rip up the old floor either. They feel like tile, they're even cold with bare feet, look like tile, and are so easy to clean. We've not had any problems with lifting or peeling either. Hope I could help you.....

We went with a dark charcoal gray and light cream tile checkerboard pattern -- natural stone look but two contrasting colors arranged in a checkerboard pattern set on the diagonal. It's not installed yet, so I don't have pics, but I think it's going to look nice. We had the same dilemma with white cabs, marble counters and not doing a wood floor. Good luck.

boopadaboo, Thanks, but I don't think I have a flair for colour. It is always so painful when I have to think of what colour to paint next. Usually after I have painted, I am already thinking of the next time and colour to paint. Soshh, I really like that battleship gray. I did try gray on one wall but it looked so blue. I already bought gallons of paint in the "Night Owl", "Purple Martin" and I think I might even have a gallon of "Flock of Ducks" but I do like that gray. marti, I don't paint trim, that, I have to dust.I find that when you paint with dark colours, the dust shows up very quickly. I think it is because I am always mopping the walls, that I get tired of the paint colour fast and I get bored real fast or I just like to paint.lol

Fun2B3Here, I canÃ¢ÂÂt tell you how happy I will be Not to be a floor slave in this area of the house. I have a big Rottweiler and a Maltese so donÃ¢ÂÂt need any more labor like my lighter tile gives me in living areasÃ¢ÂÂ¦even though I have a big floor steamer. Bbstx and Holly-Kay, thank you!!! Kswl, I hold your complement very highly, thank you! Seagrass, for porcelain that is a good price but you can get ceramic cheaper. I do hope you donÃ¢ÂÂt think me rude for bringing up price but sometimes I think it good to show things for those of us on a tighter budget who seek to achieve a nicer look. However, so glad you like it! I have been looking at cement floors since just after purchase. It had stinky stained beige carpet that was gross ( and immediately ripped out) and a hideously remodeled moldy bathroom. On another note, now I canÃ¢ÂÂt wait for the baseboards!

We put it in our bathrooms, and I love it! We're still in the process of building, so I don't have finished product pictures yet. We don't even have it grouted in yet, but it looks so good regardless. We put this from Home Depot down:

We put the wood look tiles in a house that we will use as a rental property. I am not there to take better pictures. These are some picture I already had. We put the tile in the herring bone pattern with a border in the living room and kitchen. It is the cheaper priced tiles. There is color variation in the tiles. We also used the same tile in the office. They are laid on the diagonal. I will also post a picture of the wood look tiles we used in the bathroom. These are a different tile. They were longer planks and not much color variation, and cost more. They cut them in random different sizes. I hope the pictures help.
