I posted last about paint color, and I've finally decided on Valspar's Faint Maple. It looks GREAT with all of my choices, but now I'm ambivalent about even more: Cabinet hardware and backsplash options.

Before I even chose my paint color, I decided on an antiquated, bronze backsplash. After seeing how warm my kitchen is going to look with the addition of a paint color with an orange undertone, I'm reconsidering my choice in backsplash color. I think I may prefer the contrast of something like stainless or even pewter. I DO prefer metal to tile, just because of past experience and the general look of it.

If I keep the bronze, I will probably use wrought iron pulls. If I switch to stainless, I'll likely use brushed nickle bin pulls and knobs.
