The Brewmatic is great! It connects to a receptacle behind it in the backsplash wall and is fed by a 1/4" line that runs in the wall and pokes out behind the unit as well. I ran the water line in a piece of 3/8" flexible electrical conduit that extends to the basement where I have the water filter. This provides protection to the water line as well as providing the means to replace it if needed in the future. I simply grouted around the water line as it comes through the tile and that seems to be working well. Extra cord and water line are coiled and tied and tucked up behind the unit.

We just installed a Blanco silgranit single basin sink. We love it. Great quality, easy to clean.

It seems like a great idea to have a side drainer, yet I never see this sink on the Kitchens Forum. I wonder if it's due to the individual bowl dimensions. I didn't see the dimensions, but just be careful about the size of each bowl. I would be concerned that neither side is big enough to soak a pan or wash a pot easily. Check the the interior dimensions of each bowl--not just the exterior--before you make this purchase. Call Blanco if you cannot find the information online; they have great customer service.

The faucet is just set in there for now. I feel like the sink should have been set closer to the counter edge. I found out later, after a heated discussion with the owner and fabricator, that he knew there was I probelm with the counter top before they even installed it. I feel for the amount of money spent on these countertops and sinks ($11,646.60) they should have been perfect. He should have given me the choice to either change the sink or backsplash. Instead he tried to see if his mistake would slide by unnoticed. During the install he had asked me where I wanted the faucet placed. Center under the window or center of the sink. I had said center under the window for looks and because I knew it would still reach both sides of the double sink. Needless to say he set 1 1/2 inches to the right instead of where I had asked him to place it. I think he did this because there was a seam in the backsplash right there. I want to tell them to replace the entire piece at this point. It is just to much money and they "tried" to pass off the mistake, but were caught. I have looked for replacement faucets. The deck is only 2 1/2" deep. So most high arc faucets do not fit. Any advice!??!?!?!?
