Yes, a family member who I visit a lot has "Moen Faucets in Chrome Finish" Several Moen faucets. Where they live there is not much choice unless they go to a place that will have demanding salespeople with attitude. So, I forgive them for not looking for fancier faucets. Besides, the Moen faucets DO work. Except when they don't. I think some Moen faucets can de duds. I observed they replaced their Moen kitchen faucet with Yet Another Moen, instead of asking for Moen support. Some people are like that; they just won't call and use their warranty. -- I've seen a few Moen in real life. chrome in Moen is OK. Good. -- I believe the side sprayer on Moen kitchen faucets is always an evermost gentle vegetable spray, so gentle that it wouldn't bruise the most delicate leaf of the oldest spinach. Personally I find it weak. But it does the job. -- chrome is always good, these days. Not like it was years ago when people were still learning how to plate it onto plastic-y materials. chrome is a method and therefore not totally comparable from one manufacturer to another. There are variations in the recipes (ingredients and methods). chrome in some manufacturers' faucets is mindblowingly amazingly beautiful (in a price multiples higher than Moen). -- Moen has good customer service and a good guarantee. I've also seen duds from them. But, if you keep the receipt you can get service. I have nothing against Moen. It's an honest company: what they say is what they do. -- I cannot advise about the Dorsey pullout. Hth

I do have a Karbon. Wall-mounted. Love it. I looked all over for a soap dispenser that wouldn't argue with the Karbon. We just put this one in. It looks good, but its operation seems to be to be a bit stiff. This saves on soap though. :) My last soap dispenser gushed at the slightest pressure. I had a white faucet way back when and while it never peeled or yellowed, it was more difficult to keep clean than a chrome or my current brushed nickel faucets. Every little thing showed so it always had to be wiped down. There's a big difference b/w bathroom faucets & kitchen faucets, btw....bathroom faucets don't get food, etc. on them. They are much easier to keep clean and don't need anywhere near the "upkeep" of a faucet in a busy kitchen. If you're OK with wiping it down each time you use it and you really want one...then I say go ahead and get one! Just don't get a cheap plastic one...spend the $$ to get a decent one that won't yellow or peel in a few years & has high quality "innards"! On the plus side, you probably won't have problems with water spots showing like a polished metal faucet would have... (my brushed nickel faucets also don't show water spots.)

I've had Hi-Macs countertops for about a decade. I bought it because I liked the pattern (dark with speckles). It gets these milky-white stains that I can't get rid of (have tried every chemical suggested for Hi-Macs) and nothing gets rid of it. I have tried contacting the manufacturer: I think they're out of business. I have not been able to get a callback from anybody who says they refinish countertops. Ideas?
