Yes, of course. I've gotten so much help here, I'm so glad to be able to help someone else for a change! :) I have to get ready for work soon and will have to look up the knobs info tonight, but I can answer everything else:
We have The Tile Shop in our town, but they have a web site. I think it's tileshop.com. I'm bet you can order the grout over the web. I can find out the brand later today if that will help, but I think they probably only carry one brand. It lightened very slightly, but I love it now!! Thank goodness!! I would not want it any lighter.
The granite is Giallo Oramental aka "New" Venetian Gold. It does not really have gold in it, like regular Venetian Gold. It is more brown, gray and white. It was one of the "stock" granites where we bought it. I had looked at Bianco Antico, which I love, but it was much more expensive. I love all the colors in the NVG and am so glad we went with it. The wall are Relaxed Khaki from Sherwin Williams.

Thanks for the info. I'm off to work too. I'm going to check out that granite. I think it's hard to find the right granite with white cabs. We put oak bb on the island, but we're still stuck on the perimeter. My husband is finishing his work on adding trim to our cabinets to change them out a bit. I have a med. shade of green on walls that I like, but I'm thinking a change of color might help with the "change" that the kitchen is in need of. And I think I've decided oil rubbed knobs is my favorite for hardware. Thanks again!

Hey Lake Girl- I found the hardward info. The cup pulls are from Top Knob #1209 and the knobs are #1230, both in oil rubbed bronze finish. I can't find the latch info, but I think they are from TK as well, in the same finish.
I like the NVG with white cabinets because it has a lot of white in it. It also has the chocolate brown to pull in the ORB from the hardware. Can't wait to see your finished pictures. How much longer do you have until it's all done?

Who knows when we'll be finished (are we ever really finished :). I'll check on the knobs today. I won't need latches, since my cabs are partial overlay (we're talking 1997). But they still look pretty good and saves a bundle on updating. Can I ask you how thick your granite is? We don't have much experience with granite. And what width is the grout on your backsplash? I wonder if you can send me a pic to my email so I can see it upclose? And I'll send you a pic of my progress. Thanks again for your help!

Lisa, I will take some upclose pictures on Friday. The final coat of poly is being put on our floors today, so I can't get in there until then. I do know the granite is 3cm or 1 1/4 inches thick. I have no idea what thickness of the grout it is, but it is on the thicker side. I will measure it when I get in there and let you know.

I haven't posted pictures of anything but the kitchen, but I would be happy to. Our builder is also putting new pictures of the finished house on his website in the next few weeks. His website is stonecrofthomes.net and our house is the "Wooldridge". There are already a few on there from several months back-under construction.

Thanks for the pics, Jill! I really like the width of your grout. The other idea I had for the backsplash was a tongue and groove horizontal wood look I saw in a magazine. It was a house in Beaufort, SC (very coastal looking). Also, I'm thinking of going with the giallo ornamental. If we do, I hope I can find a slab with some white in the background like you have. The quote I got from one place the other day was $36-$37 a square foot. Does that sound about right? (I also love soapstone but the cost is up there. We could DIY it, but I can't find any in our area.) Thanks again!!!
