cabinet height-small kitchen-10 foot ceilings

We are remodeling a galley style kitchen in an old 1901 farmhouse. It is a small kitchen, but has 10 foot ceilings. Question is how high should we go with the upper cabinets? I like the look of stacked cabinets.

Would it look appropriate to do a 42 inch upper plus a 15 inch stacked cabinet with a 3 inch moulding? This would leave a gap between the cabinet & ceiling, but it would be high up. Or should I go all the way to the ceiling? The cabinetmaker said it may feel like a "wind tunnel" if I go up to the ceiling. In addition, if I went to the ceiling, I think the cabinets would be very long. Might look weird in such a small kitchen.

Any advice and/or photo's of small kitchens with high ceilings appreciated!
