Anyone Have The Aged Pewter Finish Faucets From Delta?
Comments (4)Thanks for the reply, Tinker. This may seem like a weird question, but do all your faucets match in color (sink, tub, shower)? The tub I want only comes with chrome or satin nickel drains (there are 2 of them). Do you think the pewter will clash? Some of these choices are difficult to make when you don't have all the facts (i.e. water hardness), much less it being a finish I've never owned. How is your new kitchen plan coming along? I can't wait to see your finished product!! I really, really like that house & the beautiful lot it's on. I am so happy for you that you were able to get it. It looks like a piece of paradise to me....See Morechrome faucet with pewter hardware?
Comments (2)I might consider going with something completely different for the hardware to avoid having all of the silver possibilities. Chrome (cool and polished) Nickel (warm and polished), stainless steel, (warm and brushed) and pewter (warm and matte) If you go for something completely different it will look like you weren't going for "anything silvery is close enough". This is one of those decisions that can be kind of tough that was easier when polished and silver = chrome and brushed and silver = SS and that was it....See MoreSatin nickel exposed hinges... Bin pulls different?
Comments (0)Having a hard time with picking the finish color of my hardware! White cabinets, soapstone counters, med. Oak finished flooring... Door hardware is original 1937 old, aged brass... Almost a bronze color, but I ruled out bronze as the cabinet hardware, I really don't feel drawn to it and I've been leaning to antique pewter, but also love the white kitchens I have seen with satin nickel. I just found out from the cabinet maker that they use Amerock hinges, and there is not an aged pewter, or weathered nickel, so my exposed hinge option is made for me, satin nickel. It seems like my bin pulls and knobs should also be satin nickel, or has anyone used different hinges and hardware?...See MoreWhat do you think..? Brushed Nickels or Antique Pewter
Comments (6)I have white cabinets and soapstone counters and did both nickel and pewter hardware. The bulk of the hardware is satin nickel, and for the accent knobs (like on the glass-front cabinets), I used decorative pewter hardware. I think they blend very nicely, but the fancy pewter ones give a little "pop"....See Morebreezygirl
