The wok burner is the 15000 burner, there are two medium burners at 9200 and one large at 1200, then the simmer burner is 5000. That's at full output of course, they can be turned down to 800 I believe.

I have on in my corporate rental (not installed yet but I have the manual). The specs are in the service manual (which you can download from Aga if you want to see one now).

I own the three oven one...ummm I love it I guess LOL I've always loved the look of an Aga. I have a Lacanche in our home, but from the days of little girlhood, I have always loved the look of an Aga, so when we purchased the second home, and I was trying to find a goreous range that was also less expensive than the one we have at home...the Aga fit the bill.

But I can't tell you much about my "oven" use since it's still in the box and will be until Feb or March. I don't mind the small ovens myself, because I have a lacanche and I've cooked in europe before (they aren't typically huge there...they don't like to waste energy heating open space). But I'd bet someone in the appliance forum will give you more details there.

As to color. I went with black. I am putting it in a brick enclosure and wanted the traditional look that a black enamel range gives for this kitchen.

You are in Alaska (we will be on the olympic peninsula), so propane for both of us...am assuming not too much BTU loss ..

I seriously considered this range, but decided against it because I didn't like the way the burners were set up. I much prefer a continuous grate burner system, and the easy to clean matte black grates over the shiny, non-continuous style of the Aga Legacy. If you go with the legacy, the white retro one is really cute.

I have this range in stainless. Igloochic already answered your question about the burners, so I'll just give you my general impressions of it. I've been using mine since January, and there are things I love about it and things that disappoint me about it.

For the most part, I love the cooktop. The arrangement of the burners works great for me. It's easy to keep clean and use. The hot is hot and the simmer is perfect.

One of my burners has been inconsistent in that twice I've tried to use it and couldn't get it to light at all, but other times before and since, it has worked fine. I plan to have a service call to get this checked out, but I'm sure it will light fine when the technician is here.

I don't like how all five burners click when you are lighting one, and I don't like how long you have to hold a burner knob until the burner will stay lit. But, those are minor annoyances and mostly just different from my last gas stove.

The ovens. Hmmm. Well, I LOVE having three ovens, each with its own purpose. I haven't used the broiler much, but when I have it works great. The tall oven is wonderful when I have a lot of side dishes cooking or heating up. The main oven is small, which I realized when I got the range but figured I wouldn't mind because I don't use my ovens that much anyway. Well, it bothers me more than I thought it would. All my cookware fits in it except for my largest roasting pan, but it's a little hard to maneuver larger pieces in and out of it.

My only major complaint with this range is the preheat time for the ovens. It sometimes takes more than 45 minutes for the oven to heat up fully. That's just ridiculous, if you ask me. Like I said, I don't use my ovens a lot, so it isn't that big a deal. Still, I would expect more out of a $5,000 appliance.

I love the look of it and its performance has been generally good, but I have already steered a friend away from getting one.

I too have been interested in the Legacy had have had a hard time learning much about it. One thing I did was to read the British reviews for the Rangemaster 90, which is name that the Legacy is sold under in the UK. Most of the reviews were fairly positive, but not very detailed. I also do not know to what extent the range is modified for the American market. Does anyone know?

holligator - that's disturbing about the time it takes your ovens to heat up. I wonder if others have that same problem. Have you had yours serviced yet?

I sell both the LaCornue CornuFe ranges and the Aga Legacy ranges. Metalmorphing is correct in saying that the CornuFe does use the Legacy 44 chassis, however, that is where the similarities end. The CornuFe 110 range has a reinforced chassis from the factory for a higher quality and more rugged end result. There are other differences: the Legacy uses rubber oven gaskets that do not hold up well to use where as the CornuFe uses the usual gasket material that can handle much usage. You will also see that the Legacy has 4 doors on the front which have a flimsy feel to them, the CornuFe has a two door front door system that has doors which are bold and rugged. The Legacy comes with an enameled cooked surface which is hard to clean while the CornuFe has a stainless cooktop which greatly reduces and simplifies cleaning. The CornuFe also comes with a wonderful to use 5 burner cooktop with plenty of room on the center burner for large coooking vessel usage. The un-cramped cooktop is also very handy while using multiple burners, it is much easier to 'move around' on the surface. There are other differences which you will see when you see them side by side. So, it is correct that they are assembled in the AGA factory, but LaCornue owns a dedicated assembly line in the AGA factory just for the CornuFe.

The typical American range in this size category has one 'full size' oven and one small oven. The nice thing about the CornuFe is that you get two good size ovens to work with . There are times when you would like to cook to larger dishes at the same time and are unable to accomplish this in the small oven featured on 48" ranges. We sell many of the CornuFe ranges and have not had one complaint regarding the burner BTU's so I think you would find them to work great.

Does anyone know when the CornuFe induction ranges will be available and what size the hobs will be?

I need a Liquid Propane conversion kit for the Legacy 36 Dual Fuel. All of the units came with this conversion kit. Is anyone willing to sell theirs? The part is discontinue.
