where to buy cabinet hardware - best prices on line?
Comments (20)I bought my pulls from Knobs4less.com. They had the best prices that I could find, and they emailed and called me when my longer pulls were on backorder. I had free shipping and a good experience. I bought my cup pulls on ebay for about $1.60 per cup. I am very pleased with the quality. (I first bought a sample) I also have hardware that I bought at Menard's that I have had no problems with. The brands were Liberty and Belwith. I check the bags carefully because I once brought home a "newer" version of the hinge I was looking for, though it had the same product number, the style was just slightly different. I had to dig through the bin to find the same packaging as my match. I was relieved that there were enough of the same....See MoreWhat do you line your drawers / shelves with?
Comments (22)My drawers, well with spanx..oh wait not those drawers... Honestly, nothing :) I'm in the naked drawers and shelves camp, though my mother often comes along and puts anything she can find down as a liner when I'm not watching (paper towels, placemats...I'm hiding the bathmats...) I love no liner :) Nothing yucky to move, no wrinkles, no crinkles :) Now my cats on the other hand...well they're obviously more refined than those above and wouldn't shed a hair on my cabinets...they prefer being decorating accessories in the main parlor: And they're no lazy susans (pun intended) When they line a sink...they LINE the sink:...See More"'Best" cabinet line for frameless white painted kitchen
Comments (25)The ones I am looking at right now are: 1 - Bellmont 1600 2 - Bellmont 1900 3 - Canyon Creek's Katana Line (I wish they had the higher end line up here, they seem much better and very customizable) 4 - Barkers 5 - Durasupreme is here, but I fear it is too spendy. Egads, though, you can notice the difference in heft. I've been afraid to price them. 6 - Brookhaven. I went to Home Depot and learned that Innermost isn't sold in Alaska's HD stores. My research is still so preliminary. But, I'm impressed with the finishes with Bellmont, and that you can mix 1600 and 1900 series to make it more affordable or customizable where you need it. But, so far, Bellmont 1900 is almost twice as much as Barkers with walnut/clearcoat lowers and white painted uppers - and Brookhaven is more than Bellmont, of course. I'm comparing apples to apples as best I can, but it is difficult to really ensure that given how things work in the pricing game. I'm willing to pay more to get what I want and ensure they are good down the road if I have to, but I admit, I'm struggling with how to figure that out....See MoreLining new cabinets/kitchen drawers?
Comments (17)I had drawers that stored my big pots in a previous house . They had been used with out a good protective liner and they were very badly scratched from the movement of the pots and pans across the bottom so over time it definitely takes a toll . To try to lessen that I will be using a good heavy protective liner ....See Moreamck2
