Does a full depth, integrated, panel ready fridge exist?
Comments (8)There's something up with your terminology. There isn't even such a thing as integrated counter depth, though I take your meaning, so to make sure we're talking about the same things: Full depth fridges are free standing. The depth depends on things like how much air space you need behind and if you're counting the handle, but they're in the neighborhood of 33" deep. Counter depth fridges are free standing. The same caveats apply about the depth. Most are around 26-27" deep. Built-in are, um, built in. Attached to the walls and cabinets. Without handles they're usually 24-25" deep. Integrated are a special subset of built-in. They are attached, and their panels meld right into the cabinetry so that the shape, or styling differences (e.g., different color door or larger handle) is the only giveaway that it's a fridge. You can put divided cabinet panels on them to make them disappear entirely. Panel ready means accepts custom door panels and hardware. It is available in some models of all kinds of fridges, though most models of built-ins have a panel ready option. For the antipasto tray, many people keep the old fridge in the garage. You can make a full depth fridge look built in, or at least counter depth by recessing it into the wall. There may be a few that can even been made to look integrated, but there might be compromises to the door if you do. I'm not sure if you meant integrated, however, since counter depth aren't... Maybe you meant paneled?...See MoreWhite color Panel Ready Fridge Vs Stainless Fridge with KIDS.

Comments (12)You are making this too hard! Most cabinet hardware lines will have a matching "appliance pull", usually offered in a few different sizes. For the SZ columns I installed in my last kitchen remodel, the drawer pulls I ordered were 10" and the fridge/freezer door pulls were 16". Some people like them much longer. The certified SZ installers installed the fridge and freezer and also installed the pulls before mounting the wood door panels to the fridge and freezer....See MorePanel ready fridge
Comments (38)@palimpsest Neither the range nor the hood have brass finishes. There is some brass hardware on the island but the glass doored cabinets don't seem to be obviously brass. An expensive kitchen for sure and to a great extent respect the age of the house and much of the original detail in other rooms was restored or if not lovingly recreated. The kitchens and bathrooms were obviously complete down to the studs remodels. There was a townhouse on the Upper West Side that was owned by Sherle Wagner who started the ultra high end bathroom fixture company decades ago. The interior of that brownstone had been ransacked and she spent a fortune recreating it so that all of the woodwork detail was back. The staircase she had made was incredible. No expense spared - thankfully it was sold to someone who appreciated it. Obviously taste is completely subjective but it seems an odd choice for a paneled refrigerator. There are some other odd choices as well. The couple selling it are prolific flippers of high end Brooklyn real estate. I rode past this house every Saturday after classes at the Brooklyn Museum but obviously as a child I have no specific memory of it. My friend who is more au courant with Brooklyn says it was in a real dliapidated state. If you go to the Dirt.com website you can find the article about the home. Fascinating history as it was originally built by the man who developed Ditmas Park....See MoreRelated Professionals
