That looks so warm and cheerful.... and I hear you about thinking you are done with something but repeating it and I guess we need to understand that the reason we keep repeating it is because we LIKE it!!
Years ago, I had a decorator from a store come to give me suggestions for my kitchen family room, as I was replacing the sofas. He brought all sorts of Southwestern (this was in the early omid 90's) and kept saying since I had so much floral throughout the rest of the house this would be a nice change. Nothing against southwest style, but I finally recognized that he was not a match for me...BECAUSE, the reason I have/had so much floral was because I like it and it makes me happy.:)

I hung this scenic picture above the bed tonight, not sure I like it above the bed, maybe on another wall. What do you think??? It definitely matches, but does it fight with my bedding??

Still undecided on headboard, I'm thinking black, and found a black and tan small diamond pattern I might use or perhaps a black metal headboard or bed. Suggestions??

Personally, I don't like that landscape painting over the bed. It's too similar in color and too busy with the comforter.

Um, a big NO vote for matchy matchy. It's too much. Some restraint is needed here. One large scale print per room is enough. If you want another print, it should be a stripe, a small scale floral, or something geometric.

Very pretty. I am wondering if the first photo and the photo of the bedding on your bed are different IRL. Your pic of the bedding in your home looks much darker than the first pic (which I guess was a catalog pic?) Have to agree that the pic above the bed might look better on another wall, perhaps over a dresser? It seems to be too much of the same colors?

Also, I wanted to mention how much I love your hardwood. It looks gorgeous. I am assuming you don't have pets or little ones to scratch up the lovely floor? Do you use any area rugs in that room?

I think a metal headboard would look great in that room. Just bringing another element into the scheme of things.

I removed the canvas picture from behind the bed. I'm not sure if it looks right on the wall, without any furniture under it.Maybe I should take it back to Kohls??

I took the photo at night, so the whole room seems darker, the bedspread does have alot of blue and misted green in it, just not showing up well in my pics.

Matching 84" floral drapes went back, I love my 96 " ruffled panels,the champagne color matches the background of the bedding.

Thanks for the nice compliment on our Brazilian Cherry floors, we have them throughout the house. Yes, lots of scratches everywhere..bedrooms may be an exception.
