backsplash opinion part II? lots of pics

So the wife and I did a bit more shopping around and came

up with something we both really like. Its a 3x6 travertine

subway tile with a brown mosaic pattern with 1" squares.

Its a mix of Brown/Coffee, Carmel, and Lt Carmel? glass tiles.

We came up with 2 backsplash designs using these elements

and I wanted to get your opinion on which to go with?

The outlet cover on each is located where the outlets would

intersect the design on the wall. Not sure what to do about

the outlet color to hide or make them go well. Stainless?

Brown? Tan? Black?

First here are some pictures of the granite and the general

kitchen. The granite is Costal Green and the cabinets are

maple auburn glaze, flooring is a marsh stain. Please

ignore the mess:) The range will have a sheet of brushed

stainless behind it (no pattern).. coming soon.
