Setting Up a Temporary Kitchen- Help Please
Comments (2)All I needed was my sink, appliances (dishwasher mandatory lol) and a couple of tables for flat space. Use temporary plywood on your counters if you're able to. I never set up a temp kitchen. We are working in half a kitchen right now. I have my sink and a small counter space next to it as well as my cooktop and wall oven still installed. I'm using one of my dishdrawers temporarily installed and I have a large (read takes up too much space) table on wheels for my flat, prep space. After DH finishes the new half, he'll rip out the old half. At that time I'll have to live without an oven ;-( Good thing I'm in So Cal so I can BBQ stuff lol...See Morehelp finding kitchen remodel posts
Comments (2)I'm sure there are more than one of such posts on the Kitchens forum, I know I've seen them go by in the past few years. Comments (1088)Since I cannot get the new links to work, I changed the originating post to match what I put in the new Read Me thread. It will have to suffice for now. Still around 1.1K comments, but at least the main information is immediately visible without having to try to get to the first few comments. BTW...has anyone else seen that the comments are all jumbled up and that it's almost impossible to find the early comments? [I did submit a ticket to Support. Let's see if I have any better luck this time than in previous attempts.]...See More2020 Kitchens Read Me
Comments (5)All my other threads have now mysteriously re-appeared (i.e., I suspect the Houzz bug has been fixed). The first two threads I created have more information than this one, so let's let this thread slowly fade away. Here's the one to go to: https://www.houzz.com/discussions/5972404/new-to-kitchens-read-me-first-2020-interim#n=1...See MoreBuehl
