Comments (3)We have a drawer MW, and we love it! The control panel is angled so that it's easily seen from above, and it takes very little bending to put something in or out of it, because the drawer comes out to you. A regular MW would need stooping and bending to put things in and out. It's also really nice to be able to stir things from above without removing the dish from the MW. Comments (7)Have you looked at drawers? Some won't do the liter bottles, but many will, at least in one of the drawers. I have ale in mine, and sometimes wine or juice. Even though you're looking from above, it still works fine for me. Comments (12)The sideways idea is interesting. Also, I had thought about drawers but I think for our needs (soda cans, beer bottles, sometimes white wine and maybe some small snack platters) I think shelves will be better. I could live without the panel-ready feature (I see now that the choices are limited) as long as it is a nice looking door. If we could spend under $2,000 that would be my preference.
