Looking for a plasma TV console that isn't too low.
Comments (7)I just bought a sofa table with drawers and an extra shelf for my plasma and electronics. Think it really looks good in the room as it isn't the normal "electronic" storage and works well with the other furniture. Also because it wasn't considered a TV console the price was half. The one you like is very similar to a buffet, etc. which could be a lot less expensive. Their height would also be the 32 you need. Just check the depth and openings to make sure your equipment would fit. There are a lot of furniture sales going on right now....good time to have fun looking and finding a great price....See MoreWhat size of TV and media console do I need for this wall?
Comments (52)I really like it, especially with your very 'airy' plant. All 3 objects give one the feeling of 'floating'. Like magic! It makes the oversized electronic, look like it's in a home setting. Very nicely done. Couldn't be any nicer. Now, look for all those with the giant 'entertainment with a bridge' armoires or wall shelving be putting them up on resale websites, so they can lighten the load in their tv rooms... LOL...See MoreBest TV console for this space?
Comments (5)Is there a chance of making the doorway behind the TV smaller so that you do not see the back of the TV? Also the TV is too high...at least set it on the console you have so that the wires are hidden. If you can narrow the doorway, it would form a corner and your TV could be in the corner, with a corner console. Some rooms are hard to arrange...we have our TV in a corner and I do not like it but .......See MoreWhat size floating tv console should we use?
Comments (9)You might consider a basic box shelf, especially if you are DIY inclined. You could use multiple shelves to achieve the width and number of shelves (vertically) that you need. https://www.houzz.com/pvp/wall-shelves-set-of-2-223505-from-nexera-natural-maple-prpv-pv~99219851?m_refid=PLA_HZ_99219851_2081799290&device=c&nw=g&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI2c-9oILn6QIVYeW1Ch3nqQ33EAkYBSABEgLCCvD_BwE Some are more than just a box; https://www.wayfair.com/Foundstone--Hayward-Floating-TV-Stand-for-TVs-up-to-60-X112068325-L6-K~W001957214.html?refid=GX433472235811-W001957214_1874210375&device=c&ptid=955905929687&network=g&targetid=pla-955905929687&channel=GooglePLA&ireid=115107516&fdid=1817&PiID%5B%5D=1874210375&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI9Nva-oLn6QIVh5yzCh3u-gUTEAQYByABEgKE8PD_BwE Whatever you choose, you do want to make sure you can hide the wires, too. Having a space for speakers and/or other related electronics would be good. http://centerforfathers.org/attractive_aarons-home-furniture/contemporary_aaron-home-furniture-top-3-room-package-of-living-office-homestead Remember while you're looking that you may well be able to take the legs off a tv console and hang it on the wall and end up with what you need. Sometimes you can find a good used actual WOOD one at Habitat for Humanity Restore Stores only in need of a little paint....See MoreRelated Professionals
