Where does it leak? Maybe there's an easy fix for it--like maybe a washer is worn and needs to be replaced? Or is it leaking from underneath the sink?

I bought Grohe when I last replaced my kitchen faucet, which is now in my rental property. I loved the faucet and heard over and over that their products and customer service were very good. My tenants recently had a problem with the faucet and I couldn't believe how easy it was to get a replacement part out of Grohe. I literally just sent an e-mail describing the problem and a scanned receipt and I had the part on my doorstep 48 hours later. The faucet is about 3 years old.

What brand do you have now?
I have had a Kohler kitchen faucet and a Kohler bathtub/shower faucet in one or our rent houses that were nothing but trouble right from the start. I will never buy another Kohler. I just replaced a 6 year old Kohler kitchen faucet with a pull out sprayer Delta .
I have had really good luck with Delta in my own home as well as in our rentals.
In this house (16 years old) I have both Delta and Price Pfister that I have never had any trouble with.

I searched high/low for faucet - I knew I wanted a workhorse, not a high profile - 3.5yrs later - very pleased I obsessed on the choice Franke 300

We have had all Delta faucets in this house for over 12 years with no problems whatsoever. So I chose another Delta recently for the kitchen. Our plumber recommmends Delta, as well.

We've lived in our new build just over two years.

We have a Delta kitchen faucet that's leaking right now. DH says to call the plumber but I can't believe it's that hard to change a washer, is it? (asking for myself, don't know if that's your problem).

Have already needed a new thermostat. Guess they don't make things like they used to.

Repairing leaks usually isn't difficult. You can download the specs of your faucet and then determine what you need to replace. You may have to take the info to a plumbing store and they'll help you figure out what you need.

Turn off the valves under the sink and have at it!

Just be sure you have a basic set of tools. You may need some allen wrenches along with an adjustable wrench and screwdrivers.

I have a Grohe and it's been trouble free for 7+ years. Check out ebay, faucetdepot and faucetdirect for good prices.

If you like the faucet you have, call the manufacturer. I've found most will send replacement parts, free of charge, for repairs.

Are you willing to share what email addy you used to contact Grohe? DS has a faucet leaking and I can't get Grohe to respond.

The life of your faucet depends more upon your water than it does the brand of faucet. In areas with heavy lime deposits, a "good" faucet and a cheap faucet will last about the same. Ditto in areas with heavy salt, etc. Any reputable plumber should tell you this.

I've had all brands, and some are easier to replace parts in than others. If it's a simple washer, it's an easy fix, and almost anyone can do it.

On our second Price Pfister (one in previous house) and had absolutely no problems with the first (4 years), but nothing but trouble with the second from the start(3 years). I have replaced, replaced, replaced. Fed up and ready to buy another type.

Have had Delta in the bathrooms with absolutely no trouble.

I don't have a record of the e-mail that I sent, but I do know that I phoned first. I'm pretty sure that I called the # on the Limited Warranty page of the website. That person told me to send the proof of purchase by e-mail, fax or mail. I don't recall exactly, but I think I just filled in the request form on the Contact page.

I'm sorry I don't have better information.
