Thank you everyone for the compliments - you really do not know how much they mean to me!!! I get what everyone is saying - you can't suggest a color without know if that's a color I hate with a passion or love it. Yes - I've looked @ PB & Restoration Hardware...and love love love...but I guess my problem is recreating the look with a much smaller budget. Anyone have tips or creating similar looks for less? Or how to get rugs that are similar to PB that are 8x10 at a reasonable price? I keep my eye on cragslist and ebay, but no luck so far - even though I live in Houston and have a lot of options open to me. Anyone know of any good sites that provide rugs that are almost idenical in style. By style,I mean their persian theirian rugs - something soft in color, not so bold. I've looked at the usual common site like o.com, homedecorators.com, and so forth...is there any uncommon website that you can suggest? I like blues and greens - I guess I need a suggest of what type of blue? Navy Blue? Blue grey Also, what a good accent color to go with blue and greens? I currently have a lot of red and what to stay away from it. While I do like red, its a common palette in my city...to see a house decorated in beige, browns, reds...I want to be traditional but not bland. I was thinking about creating a DIY Moroccan rug, that I've seen on blogs... Would something similar to the Horchow rug in the link below, be too bold? If it could a moroccan style rug could be pulled off I would want to do white and another color...would you do white/navy (what color would you want dominate the white or the navy?), white/grey, white/ brown, white/green...or any other color you would suggest?? It's always nice to actually post a pic of your colors so we don't have to google it. I'd do the very darkest color at the end of this color chip for your shutters. you need some contrast. here in this room the wall is oyster, ceiling white, and look at the dark beams. do you're shutters like that this is it on the exterior

Help! We are re-doing our kitchen and I need to choose a cabinet color for my maple cabinets. Our home is the Tuscan style from the early 2000’s, so I do want to go with a warmer color. My walls are SW divine white. I like a bit of a darker beige or cream than Divine white to offset the lighter LRV of 72. Has anyone tried SW Natural Linen, BM Natural linen, BM Clay Beige, BM White Sand for cabinets? Also was thinking of Accessible Beige, but afraid it will be too gray. My kitchen is north facing, with minimal light. Our floors are noche travertine. We are going with a lighter granite or quartz and maybe Cle’ tiles for backsplash.

I'm back...if you're still willing to help. If you'r sick of me, that's OK too. :) I just got off the phone with our painter, and he said I should use a creamer color due to the high winds in Aruba. Large amt of sands kick off the golf course. Whiter colors need more power washing...so I found two colors and I can't find much at all on the internet because I think they are newer SW colors! He did put Grecian Ivory up, but it was a bit light and not enough contrast with the trim. On the exterior the EAGLET BEIGE SW 7573 looked nice, yet I still don't know if it's too much yellow when painted on the entire house. He's painting a larger area for reference. Have you ever heard of ARRID SANDS HGSW3167? . OR if there is a better color that's a CREAMY/BEIGE with a hint of YELLOW undertone.I want to see more cream than beige. I have been looking for 2 weeks, and I can't seem to find the perfect color. I do like ALABASTER SW 7008 for the trim, PURE WHITE SW was too white. And, I like either TRICORN BLACK 6258 SW or URBANE BRONZE x 150 for the door. Any advice would be so appreciated!
