Do you know where I can get a standing panel mirror like this ?

The master bedroom makeover is underway. So far I'm liking the color of the walls...SW Utterly Beige. Tomorrow eve we are putting beadboard on the ceiling which will be painted white or a cream.

I love this mirror and looking for something like it with some shape to put in a corner, but having a hard time finding anything affordable. Thought I would ask all of you if you know of any place to get something similar.

Don't know your budget, but this site has an amazing selection in many different price ranges. Of course, none as fabulous as the one pictured.

I thought the prime suspect likely was voles, having experienced the large amount of damage they can do when I lived in more rural areas (in the woods of western MA once, during a winter with deep snow, they completely took out -- eating roots and girdling trunks up to the level of the top of the snow -- about 20' of flower border, including several shrubs, one of which was Gruss an Aachen). I am guessing you might be experiencing the apex of a vole population cycle this year, Sheila. Vole populations generally run in cycles of 3 to 4 years. During population-peak years here in the San Francisco Bay Area, you will actually see (and hear -- they squeak as they run) large numbers of voles running around even in the middle of the day and their "runs" through the grasses will be everywhere. They become so numerous that raptors and other predators will often only partially eat their catch, leaving half-eaten vole bodies lying around. The populations of white-tailed kites, whose diet is 99% vole, also go up during those years (in one of those years, my husband and I would every evening count 75+ kites flying over our house to their communal late-summer roost just north of us). The good news for you is that your vole population may well crash to next-to-nothing next year and give you a few years' break. In the meantime, traps and snakes are good. Prime vole habitat is tall thick grass, so keeping grasses short in the vicinity to the extent possible also helps.

They aren’t a custom maker—-of anything. They do resell Thermofoil plastic wrap doors, and order them from somewhere else, Mark it up, then sell them to people who don’t know they can find the same thing for less than half price with no middleman. As any true professional knows.

why do you people care if it's hard to clean or costs a lot? The OP didn't ask any of those questions. why not just answer her and forgo the snide remarks? Maybe she does have a maid and can do a 200K kitchen. (They do glass and mirror panels all the time on upper cabinets near a stove, what's the big deal w/having it done on a fridge??) Marva,,, Yes. a Custom cabinetry carpenter could design panels that fit your fridge, which would have to have the ability to accept panels. the panels wouldn't cost 30K to make! However if you wanted a custom cabinet that it is built into, expect to pay a nice amount to have that done. The mirrors would be fit into the panels much like they would on a cabinet door. Obviously to pull off this look, it can't be just a regular generic builder kitchen. The kitchen itself would have to be able to support this look. doesn't have to cost 200K either.

Why not buy three wood long shutters or doors from the home store, ones without ornamentation and have mirrors cut to fit? Then you can do whatever finish works best for you, after adding trim moulding around the edges of the mirror pieces,hinge them together, and you have a one-of-a-kind mirror. I am guessing there are lots of instructions on the internet for making floor screens from doors or shutters.

Ballard Designs has several standing mirrors with half-round tops. They aren't exactly like the one in your inspiration photo, but they are in the same spirit, and are lovely.

Les, I actually thought if the shutter idea last night. Shutter on right side & on left with a framed mirror in the same heighth in the middle. Wondering if it would be easier to buy a 3 panel shutter divider and cut the shutters out of the middle one and have a mirror installed in the frame?? Hmmm.....

Have you checked out the screen selection at Hobby Lobby -- there may be one there (maybe even a scratch-and-dent one?) that might work with an inserted mirror!
