My house is gray, trim is white, mudroom door is white and front door was green (just repainted black). I would paint the mudroom door either the siding color (putty) or the trim color.

Ath this point I think it may be awhile. After balmy temperatures for so long things have turned cold and damp, not a good combination for painting. I'm waiting for the new sidelights to come in and may just wait for them to complete the whole thing at once. In the meantime, I have the luxury of more time to make a decision that is pretty much guaranteed to look good no matter what I do, thanks to squirrel's mockups. No lost sleep over this one!

Should the color of your front door or doors be the same color inside?

I am going to get a sample of winds breath that Beth recommended as it’s close to edgecombe gray 25%. And kind of in between colors. Thank you so much for everyone’s comments. I should have hired someone for this. My sister helped me with everything but she’s not available at the moment. Floors will be 50 super walnut and 50 Jacobean.
