please help me pick a cabinet color

I have the tile for the backsplash. It is in the pictures. We are going to have it stacked straight up not layed in a brick pattern. The counter will be a quartz Ceasarston's Blizzard. I do not have a picture it is a little off white with small specks. We are using a remnant. The kitchen is small 10X6. It is a L shape and does get a lot of light. The cabinets will be the Shaker style. I was all set on painted dark almost black cabinets but now I am worried it will look too dark. I have a picture of the tile with black cabinets, but these are not the cabinets I was planning on getting. I don't have a picture of the cabinets but these are close, except the cabinets would be a solid color. We do not have the floor picked out yet.
Now I am trying to decide between off white, dark, or other colors for the cabinets. I have also been thinking about Thomasville maple cabinets in the color River Rock. I can try to get a picture with the tile. What cabinet color do you like with the backsplash tile and quartz counter top? Do you have any other suggestions on cabinet colors?

i don't see much difference in either the dover or creamy, so either would work. your other samples need to be placed like the second picture. i would be sure to pick a warm white, since to me your counter reads warm if you have a scrap piece of counter, bring it to the paint store and they should be able to match it or get very close.

blue cancels yellow. it's your lighting. during the day they look whiter. This looks perfectly white to me. when you turn on the lights it looks yellow. yellow lighting. get 4000K bulbs in every light fixture in the room. every, single one. Look how yellow this is!! when you do that, take new pictures and come back. 4000K is a nice, bright white. when you start getting into the 5000 range, it turns very cool and blue. just stay w/the 4000K. Personally I'd paint the kitchen walls another color. the one that is currently there doesn't do much for the cabinets or the counter.

North facing rooms will be dark most of the day and pick up purple tones from any paint. I would look carefully at the undertones and the formulas to ensure you don't have a lot of red and blue if you can't tell from the paint itself. I had a home with a north facing kitchen that I actually wanted to bring out the purple in so I purposefully went with a barely periwinkle gray that appeared full on periwinkle in that space. I suspect you don't want purple in your room. North facing rooms will also make your color appear deeper so you want something with a high light reflective value. My vote is for BM Gentle Cream.

I like the tile with the dark snd with the lighter brown. Don't like it with the white doors at all.

I agree with snookums. It looks great with both the dark and the brown but I don't like it with the white.

I like it with the brown, as it really pops more. I think white would look nice as well. The tile would just be slightly more subtle.

If you're going for a contemporary look, I'd stick with the plan. Or you could paint the cabinets a light warm gray, which is the hot new cabinet color. Your tile is very pretty and should read as a solid surface. Are you using white or gray grout?

Thank you for all your help. I would like to go for a contemporary look. I am not sure yet what color of grout we are going to use. So I have decided on not going with white. I am really leaning towards the third color, the lighter brown. I took pictures today of the other cabinet colors that I had been considering. Can you let me know what you think about them with the tile? Can you please let me know your top two picks. Again thank you for all your help. I will call this picture #5

I immediately liked that brown the best. It is great with the beautiful tile and will be good with light color counters. Floors? Cork?

I don't think these latest photos are showing depth of color well but from what I can see, I still pick the dark and lighter brown from the first set.

If you are considering very sharp edges on the cabinetry, beware they don't wear as well; prone to damage to the crisp edge making them look worn.

If you're trying for a more contemporary look, I probably wouldn't pick cabinets with raised panels and several moldings nor the aged look.

I like the one that says black cabinet. You could do the dark cabinets on the perimeter and the white cabinets on the island where it's not by the backsplash since I prefer the dark with the tile color. Going to be beautiful.

I don't find either of the medium browns to be an appealing color in and of themselves. #7 reads pink. I like any of the darker browns.

Thank you for this advise.I do not want a style that is prone to damage. I was planning on the style door as in picture #5 and #6. Are these the ones that are prone to damage? Do you or anyone else have any suggestions on a different style door? I am open for all ideas.
We are not going to have an island. One of the people that will be using the kitchen uses a wheelchair. So we wanted it very open.

I like #6 & then #5. #6 looks like a richer color. Pretty tile - makes me think of Anthropologie.
