Mount the box to the pipe with a 3/4" bracket. This helps with the predator problem. Some people steel wool the pipe and coat with car wax. If you attach to trees, you get predators-snakes, squirrels, cats-to name a few. You need to check the boxes periodically to make sure you are not hosting a non native hostile species (like the house sparrow). Generally, if you can't monitor the box, you are doing a GREAT disservice to our native songbirds, blue birds included. Please do the research-it is well worth it. I wouldn't do two short rods. I think those always look a little odd, but that's just my thoughts. If it were my room, I'd find a rod with a very small bracket. I'd install the bracket so when hung, the top edge of the drapes was even with the bottom of the crown. You will need to put your bracket on the crown unfortunately. I'd do 1 rod that extended 18-24 inches beyond the window so only the side window trim is covered by the drape. Unfortunately, your crown is getting in the way of hanging a rod! But, if you get the right bracket/rod I think it will work out nice. My only other suggestion is to do a roman or balloon shade in a fabric pattern and let the crown be the picture frame around your window. It is very lovely on it own.

Overall, I would suggest the art over the sideboard is too low. Usually art is hung too high. I would gauge that it should be raised about 6 inches. Next, I think the light fixture is too high. I believe 36" from the tabletop is the standard to the bottom of the light. The piece you want to hang should then be centered.

I agree with all of the advice about hanging your drapes above the transom. Also make sure you hang them wide enough so that they stack off the windows when they are opened. Your drape should hang over the glass a couple of inches so most drapes stack about 11 inches wide when they’re open. You can buy wands that attach to the drape at the inside top for opening and closing so your little darlings won’t put their paws on your fabric. LOL.
