Whats a good moderate price pre-rinse kitchen faucet to buy?

Hello,

We are remodeling our kitchen and my biggest sticking point has been buying the new kitchen faucet. I see no sense in paying over $1,000 for a kitchen faucet (even thought the waterstone faucets sure look nice). I was thinking about getting a pre-rinse faucet but don't know who makes a good moderate price one. I never had luck with Moen or Delta so I'd really be hesitant to try them. Any suggestions??

Kohler, KWC, and Blanco are a good quality. But quality in a pre rinse doesn't come for less than about 1K. If you want to spend less, you will end up with poorer quality (like something Chinese) or you'll need to pick another style.

Hum then maybe I should just look around for a regular pull out faucet. I'm looking at the Hansgrophe Talis C H04216000 and the Elkay explore LKEC2031. Does anyone know about them or recommend a pullout spray faucet where you don't have to hold down a button all the time to get the spray working (like the Grophe Bridgeford 33870E?

"fyi: theres a browser called duckduckgo that does NOT have invasive pop ups like most well known like firefox, google IE.". duckduckgo is not a browser.Its an alternative search engine to google. It's claim is no (less?) tracking of your moves. I've been trying it out for awhile. So far pretty good, but I resort back to google now and then to be sure. (Just add a "!g" to your search term and it sends it to google.com instead. or bing with !b or !i for images or !m for maps, etc. etc.) I use Firefox browser with AdblockLite addon on my windows PC. No ads here. One of these days I'm going to figure out how to get something similar setup on my phone. I am sure it's do-able I haven't taken the time to find out. I saw the Moen ad once on my phone browser. On my phone I'm more likely to click something accidentally with swiping and scrolling and pinching, so adblocking is even more necessary there.

Good or bad experience w/ Miseno, Danze or Essen kitchen faucets?

We did a master bath with Danze a number of years ago. All of the finishes have failed and all of the cartridges and parts have corroded. They take WEEKS to deal with warranty. YOU have to mail the parts back at your expense after weeks of waiting for the claim papers. Contrast this to my experience with Moen, Delta and Kohler. Call them, they send the part. Sometimes you get it in a day or two. Most times within a week. And both Delta and Moen sent completely new faucets without any problem at all. Keep all of your receipts. And even if it's been many years, that is the service you will get.

Best spiral pull down kitchen faucet for the price?

I was looking for a spiral pulldown that was high quality on a budget. I found a used KWC pulldown on ebay for $150 which works great. I ended up buying a replacement spray unit for $150, not because it didnÃ¢ÂÂt work but because that was where I could see some age. So for $300 got a great faucet that will last for years. IÃ¢ÂÂll admit buying a used faucet is not for everyone, but I had (and loved!!) a KWC spiral pulldown in the home I just sold, and really wanted one again, but was not up for paying 2K. We used Rohl’s Perrin & Rowe lineup in our bathroom reno and couldn’t be happier. Exposed thermostatic shower system, sink faucet and tub filler for claw foot tub and a whole host of accessories. The quality is tangible. We had a minor issue with the diverter valve in the shower (it worked, but it didn’t feel smooth) which Vintage Tub & Bath replaced, no questions asked. Fortunately it was an easy fix on the exposed shower (a few unions). And Rohl’s polished nickel finish is exquisite Now were doing our kitchen and another bathroom and we keep going back to Rohl. We’ve found few options which tickle our fancy and the ones we have, (Lefroy Brooks, Graff, etc.) we’re unsure of the quality. Being a car guy, I like car analogies: A Lexus LS460 is in the same class and possesses most of the same features as a Mercedes S550, BMW 7-Series or Audi A8, and may even give you less problems than the German marques, but a Lexus will never have that same “carved from billet” feel.

Kraus KPF-1602 faucet! Installed for 2 years, and love it. It has two faucets in one, the water pressure is great, it has all-brass construction, and it is very dramatic looking. I cannot get over that some brands charge $1000+, and I don't even think those faucets are as functional as the Kraus. Right now, $285 at expressdecor (where we bought ours). Pre-rinse? Sounds even worse than rinsing before going into the DW. I actually have the Hansgrohe Talis C and it is my accomplice in my rinsing dishes on their way to the DW.
