Came home today to find that our contractor was installing the wrong tiles for our backsplash. Instead of a NAXOS porcelain backsplash, they had cut marble tiles to strips and installed. We stopped work immediately, but now that the initial shock has worn off, I am beginning to like the way it looks. The must have had to cut a lot to make these marble strips and I think it looks good. How about the color? Doe it go well with the cabinets (BM Nimbus) and the counter top (persa pearl). I have to decide by morning whether to pull the plug and replace or go with this backsplash....
