I'm so mad I could spit. I love my DR drapes but would like them to be longer, and there is a generous hem. In addition, I could also have a false hem put in that would not be noticeable. So while I'm taking them down to bring them to have this done, I realize now that my former seamstress who made them ($$$$) used fabric glue in the corners. Has anyone had any success removing the glue? I've been able to get some of it out by just peeling it back very slowly, but in some areas I don't think that's going to work.
For the sake of a few minutes of her time, I'm afraid she's made the drapes un-alterable, which irritates the heck out of me, for what I paid to have them made.
Oh well, any ideas?
