Kid art clutter......is this idea feasible?

I have three very artistic children who love to draw and leave the evidence all over the place. The fridge is packed with stuff and we are overflowing. I don't like clutter, but I like to have their works of art on display.

I just got an idea, but I don't know if it would work... Is it possible to buy a sheet of some sort of magnetic metal, paint it with some sort of (maybe textured?) spray paint, frame it, and have it actually work as a magnet board?

I'd be tempted to just make a HUGE one for my kitchen wall. I'm picturing maybe a textured bronze surface in a really pretty frame. Would the paint negate the magnetic surface, and does such surface exist anyway?

I know that magnetic paint exists, but I've heard it isn't very strong. I want something that magnets will really stick to.

Ideas?
