I think you could go either way since the dune probably goes well with the Winderemere, but I'm leaning toward the salesperson's recommendation, especially if your cabinets are more white than off-white. Waterford looks like it's a clone of blue pearl granite, so you might look for pics of that. I think it will read as black and you can use a white or light blue backsplash. It would be very pretty with white cabs. I love the look of black knobs on white cabs when there's a dark counter. You can go to a distributor's warehouse and look at slabs. Floform is a major supplier of Cambria on the west coast and Canada.

Thanks for your comments. I think my garburator routine is a habit with no reasoning. I leave orange peels in the sink in the morning, and then I make dinner and flush the orange peels with the dinner food remains after I do the dishes. I will start putting down the orange peels right away. Does anyone use Method all purpose for the quartz? Thanks.
