I would definitely put the appliance pulls on the DW and fridge drawers. Unlike your cabinet drawers which are on slides and so easy to move, the DW and fridge drawers almost have a suction action to them which require a "tug" to open. I have never checked this but I wouldn't be surprised if the screws on the appliance handles are actually bolts and so are heavtier than the drawer pulls and are built for the heavier pull action required. Using the 12" ones would give a uniformity to your appliances. I have a bank of 15" drawers, a bank of 19" drawers and 2 banks of 30" drawers which are shaker style. I have the same not quite 7" pulls on all of them with only one on the 30" drawers. They are all centered in the middle of the drawer. I know that some people center them on the top narrower drawer (cutlery) and then raise them to be set higher on the wider bottom two drawers. That drives my sense of symmetry up the wall. P.S. what do you mean centering them vertically?

Dang, I had written a long answer yesterday, but must not have hit "submit" after preview. First of all, it turns out that nearly any placement (within reason) will look fine. You can look through many houzz pictures to verify this. What I did for the drawer stacks, which I got from someone here, was to center the pull on the top, shallow drawer. Then on the lower, deeper drawers, I placed the pull the same distance from the top of the drawer as on the top drawer. (A small advantage of this is that you need only to make one template!) For the uppers and the cabinets, I just held the pull up to the door and figured out where I thought it looked "nice." Then I measured and standardized that. I wound up placing the pull so that its bottom hole was about 1.5 Shaker-rail-widths from the bottom of the cabinet door.

We used knobs on all doors + the two 6" filler pullouts. We used pulls on all drawers + trash pullout...1, centered horizontally & vertically, on drawers =30" wide. Note: The pull on the trash pullout was centered horizontally but not vertically. It was placed on the frame as that is stronger and I was concerned that the combination of a full trash can + full recycle can (with bottles & cans) would be too much if the pull were on the center panel. You're gonna love me.....do what YOU want! LOL! You love the pic you showed, right? Then mix it up like that. Personally, that pic is too busy for me with the three different types of hardware and with the two bar pulls on the center island drawers, although I love those knobs even though I'm not a knob person. I have (obviously since my whole kit is pulls) a pull on my trash drawer. I find this easier than a knob would be. The pull has more surface area to grab, and I can open it by grabbing from below or above with a little pinky if the rest of my fingers are dirty. My pullout needs a bit of a tug to get it started. For ease of use, I recommend a regular bar pull installed horizontally for trash. Again though, do what looks best to you. I'll tell you how I approached my hardware placement. I knew I wanted all pulls and was unsure of which size pull I'd want on which size drawer so I purposely ordered too many of each size. When my order came, I held up the various sizes to each drawer and decided. Then I sent the remaining, unused pulls back. Another option would be to buy one or two of each piece of hardware you're considering and experiment before the entire order is placed. Will your appliances be paneled so you're putting on your own hardware? In looking at your plan again, I might suggest the following: -putting pulls on all your uppers Galley A -two pulls on drawers larger than 25" since your pulls are small -one pull on drawers smaller than 25" -can't tell the measurements or exactly the configuration of the trash area (is each door face pullout or just a pullout on the right? Drawer above?) Galley B -knobs on the hutch -pulls on the stack left of DW -pull on the top of the stack right of sink and pulls for lower three Just a possible starting point! I'm sure you could work it up a couple of different ways and have it look fabulous! Good luck.
