Diamond IS Kemper IS Thomasville. They are the same exact cabinets. Only the names change depending on which store you are in. If you found Kemper to be more expensive, then look at another company carrying it. It should always be cheaper than the box store equivalents as dealers don't have the higher markups of box stores. Yes, I said higher markups for box stores. They often don't use anyone who knows anything about kitchen design in that position, and the result is more mistakes that they have to deal with. So, they negotiate a better return policy with the company, but the customer pays for it with higher margins. If you have a ProSource anywhere near you, check them out as they are a wholesale to the trade. (They have a "house" account if you aren't a member.) Their margins are MUCH lower than the box stores and they will have the Kemper/Diamond labeled versions of what you are looking at. That's the company that I'm now working for and designing the new showroom, and it's been pretty great as to how little the markups actually are compared to some that I had dealt with in the past. Not all ProSources have added cabinets, but if you are in a major city, it's worth your time for flooring as well if you need that for your project.

Anyone else have any experience with Designer's Choice cabinets? I'm looking at their Presidential line, and at Cabico cabinets. Any pros and cons I should consider when comparing the two?

a relative installed a Holiday kitchen in about 2003..it's held up well...I wouldn't have done her style but the durability seems [good] to [above average] for the money.

What did you decide? Did you learn anything more about Cabico? I am looking into Cabico too... I have heard good things from local friends and their kitchens look lovely but I wonder about long term wear and tear... If you got them would you be willing to share your experience? I am close to making a choice. A is great, and D is not. Merrilat and Yorktowne got below a C.. I had Yorktowne in my last house and they were fine. Nothing special. So if Cabico is B. I am would be willing to use them.
