i have a stainless apron front sink.

I have a stainless undermount in my island and a copper apron front under my sink wall. I don't think the copper sounds like it would be as nice for your space as well as a stainless steel apron front. I am wonder how these sinks hold up though. My stainless stuff is a huge maintenance issue for me and I already cant stand the stuff. I think a white sink would look pretty and be easier to maintain. Just my opinion and good luck with whatever you decide.

I have a stainless steel farm sink ready to be installed this week in cabernet cherry cabinets with a black glaze, not exactly what you have, but as soon as it gets in I will post a picture. I also have stainless appliances and a stainless vent hood that ties it all together....I hope!

I'm getting soapstone, but have seen farmsinks made from other stones as well if this is an option for you.

Thanks for the input... problem is that I am trying to AVOID stainless steel. I am not fond of the look or the upkeep. I plan to panel my fridge and dishwasher. I will be using stainless Electrolux double oven and built in micro which feature alot of black glass. I did not want to go with the all black appliance option so this was good compromise. That is why I was leaning toward a black farmsink. I would love to see one installed. I have already ordered the farmsink base so I am now committed to this route. I think white is too stark against the cabinets and there will be no other white in the kitchen. We are leaning toward a mostly green granite. Your assistance is so appreciated.

I have two off-white fireclay sinks, the 30" apron front is a Whitehaus, and the 14" square prep sink is I think from Rohl. Even though two different makers, the color is the same!
Even though it's not snow white, it's the whitest thing in the room. The biscuit/linen color seems much richer or less stark than white-white.

Thanks Casey. That's just what I wanted to see. I am also considering the Whitehaus but want to use the fluted side. You tie your space togther with the beautful soffits. Although I love the sink, the best thing in your kitchen is the adorable kitty hanging out in the middle.
