kitchen faucet.....pull down or pull out sprayer?
Comments (19)Just thought I'd throw my 2 cents in here---As a plumber, I've noticed that both Moen and Delta are going to the nylon hose. Is it better? They haven't been around long enough to determine that. Only time will tell... The pull out seems to be more popular than the pull down, mainly I think because the pull out faucets are cheaper that the pull down. However, the prices are coming down on the pull downs...Moen just came out with a new model, the Arbor, that is priced comparable to the pull outs. I personally like the looks of the pull downs better.--The Captain...See MoreWall mount faucet with pull-down/out sprayer
Comments (5)Hi crl_, I don't think of the Jaclo as a pull-out/pull-down because it doesn't actually retract into the faucet, it just sits on top in the channel so I think they call it a pull-off? I really wanted one but my husband did not like it so we have a wall-mount with side spray from Chicago Faucets. They have lots of side spray options if you would consider something like that. Or, might a wall-mount articulating faucet like the Kohler Karbon meet your needs?...See MoreDelta trinsic pull down faucet is REALLY hard to pull down.
Comments (18)Just to update with one more detail. Now it snaps back to the magnet just as it should. I don't have the install guide anymore, but I'll bet it called for some oil. It only makes sense since it's supposed to move and glide smoothly. Most things in the world that are supposed to do that need oil. Mineral oil does not go rancid, and is food safe, so it seemed like a good choice. I'm so happy with the faucet now. I was starting to hate it, but now it's perfect. Syllabub, try the mineral oil and see how it works. Just pull the faucet all the way out, coat your hands with a little mineral oil and rub it on the hose. I also went under the sink and rubbed a little on the portion of the hose that is visible down there when the faucet is retracted. That part probably wan't necessary, but I was trying to coat all the hose that would be gliding up and down....See MoreKitchen faucet with pull down sprayer
