TKO solution for lining pantry shelves storing food

As I'm preparing to move stuff back into my pantry (yay!!!), I'm wondering if there's a better or more TKO solution, other than Con-tac type shelf liner paper, for pantry shelves. I bought the cheap Target imitation Cushy Cupboards shelf liners (thick open weave) for lining drawers with clean plates, bowls, glasses, etc. However, open weave isn't practical for a place where sugar and olive oil drips & spills are, sadly, a fact of life. The pantry is a walk in (actually a step-in), so nothing rolls or moves about. Any suggestions, TKO?
