Your kitchen looks amazing!! I am currently building a Farmhouse. I have the cabinets picked out they are Brookhaven by Woodmode. The color is antique white. I have my heart set on honed absolute black countertops. I have read so many things about them and how hard they are to deal with. Do you like yours? Would you use it again? My other option is Cambria either cambrian black or sussex. The cambria is actually cheaper for me. Also, what size are your pendants? I bought the "harmon pendant" through Restoration Hardware and I couldn't decide what size to get. I got the 15 inch. However my cabinets havn't even been installed yet. My island is 7'3 by 3'7. The first color that came to me is a light to med olive. We just finished painting our kitchen with BM's Natucket Grey and it have received alot of compliments on it. It is definetly more olive than grey. Here is a link that might be useful: BM nantucket grey

I don't have it, but it could work for you. The context would be key. What kind of floors, bs and counters do you have? What is your hardware? These all factor in to the total package..

I think the colors you chose which you show on the back wall are too dark with the dark cabinets. Regardless, anybody can say, "oh, this is the perfect color for your space". Until you sample as you know. I think you could go a shade or two lighter. The bulbs you choose for the cans make a huge different and natural light as well. High up things will look a bit different than lower and..... I just completed a space in City Loft, it was very pretty and it is a white, but a cool light gray and in the space didn't lean in any direction except gray with a lot of natural light and a lot of cans and pendants over an island. Silver plate a is a beautiful, slightly cool gray that hits JUST the spot when you’re looking for a gray that isn’t too ‘this’ or too ‘that’. Again, any paint needs to be tested in your own space. It's a daunting task, but worth it! Silver plate can be very pretty with very good amount of light or it falls battle ship. close x
