Paper towel holder?

The cabinets installation started today so time to start thinking about smaller details (besides the flooring and backsplash).

We need to mount paper towels under the cabinet since counter space is limited.

Any suggestions for a nice looking and good functioning one? We had a simple white plastic one before that is now long gone since it wouldn't fit with the stainless appliances and more updated look.

Scootermom - in answer to your question, I use the Bounty "Select-a-Size" paper towels, which I like because sometimes you only need 1/2 towel, or maybe 1-1/2 towels, so I like the versatility. As I noted in my post above, I have the Perfect Tear towel holder (linked above to BB&B). The Perfect Tear holder works equally well for the Select-a-Size or the whole-size rolls. Korney19 - LOL! Consider Command adhesive. I don't know if it'll work against the pulling but it's very cool. Sears, Amazon, other Amazon, plus Simple Human, Rubbermaid, and a number of other people make the ones that take a couple of small screws. They'll work. There are also a lot of magnetic ones. You might want to bond a steel plate to the inside of your door to hold the towels on a magnetic holder, plus other accessories, perhaps a dishtowel bar, tool hooks, potholders, or sponge cups. Suction mounts would work too.

I like my brushed stainless Martha Stewart portable paper towel holder that I just got a few weeks ago. After going without one for so many years, I really appreciate having somewhere to put my PT, and I think it looks inconspicuous on the counter. I decided against putting a holder inside a cabinet because I sometimes have wet hands when I reach for one.

I have a Simple Human under cabinet paper towel holder in the laundry room. If I didn't have under cabinet lights in the kitchen I probably would have used one there too. I never thought I could get this excited about a paper towel holder, but I have! We needed a new one also after our remodel and I looked at many. The one we installed is SO easy to use, looks great and the paper towels don't unroll onto my counter. When guests come into my new kitchen, the paper towel holder is on "the tour"...it's that great.

It's from Simple Human and we bought it at BB&B. It says it is a wall mount, but it can also be mounted under the cabinet which is how we have it installed. Here's a link:

Thanks for the responses. Both look nice but a paper towel holder that gets included in "the tour" is quite the recommendation. Off to order that one! It looks nice and keeps the paper towels from unrolling when not wanted is exactly what I need. Thanks so much!
