Wow! Love your kitchen! The cabinets are beautiful. Its amazing you were able to complete everything so quickly.

I see you have the super single sink with the Simplice faucet. I am planning the same, so how do you like them? What size sink cabinet did you use? Also, please give some feedback on the fiberoptic GD switch?

The faucet is actually a Grohe Ladylux 3 or something like that. It's really nicely made, but splashes a bit more than I like. It's OK, but you need to be careful.

According to the plans I think the sink cabinet is 34". When the granite guy came to take a look at everything his first impression was that it might be too small and I was bumming. I had given the cabinet builder the sink specs but worried he cut it too close. We grabbed the sink and set it in just to see and it fit perfectly. He did router the edges of the cabinet some to make it fit really nicely. Didn't even use the clips.

The fiber optic switch works great and was easy to install. My old setup had the disposal hardwired to a switch on the wall. I changed it by putting a GFI outlet under the sink that the switch plugs into as well as added a plug to the disposal so it can plug into the control box. I changed the wall switch to a 3-way that now helps controls the under/over cabinet LED lights. There is also a dimmer for them on the opposite wall.

I bought everything online except for the cabinets, granite and tile back back splash. The only issue I had was the first sink showed up in 2 pieces but I had no problem with HomePerfect in getting it replaced.

The appliances are GE Monogram. I choose them because I could get a very good deal on them. My company has an EPP discount deal with GE. Plus I got them when they were running an extra 10% off sale. I got all the Monogram appliances through them but the big convection oven which I got off ebay. It was an "open box" but came very carefully packed. It was a terrific deal and I got an additional 8% back since I used MS Bing cash back. I'm hoping I don't have any quality issues with them. So far, so good. We like the induction cooktop, the counterdepth fridge, the hood and especially the Advantium oven.

The sink is Blanco Silgranit Diamond Super Single. Much nicer than the old double bowl. So much space and easy to keep looking good. Really nice.

The faucet is a Grohe Ladylux3 and the soap dispenser is Grohe as well.

The disposal switch is a Waste King Fiber optic switch. A minor splurge, but seems to work well.

Custom cherry cabinets with natural finish. Love the trash/recycling in the island, the big drawers and the soft close hardware.

Hardware is RH Chatham 4" and 6" pulls.

(6) Cree LR6 recessed led lights on a dimmer
(1) Cree LR6 recessed led light over the sink
(3) LBL 12V Onyx pendants over island on dimmer
24V led light strips below and above cabinets on dimmer

I'm very happy with how the lighting came out.

The coffee maker was a splurge. It's a Brewmatic BICA. I plumbed it into the filtered water off the back of the fridge. Even finding it at a great discount it was pricey. But, brews great coffee quickly and easily. Plus supplies hot water for tea as well. Seems very well made.
