Need help with tile flooring in white/coastal style kitchen!!

We are putting a new kitchen in our colonial home in upstate NY. The kitchen will open into family room, which has red oak hardwood. We'll be putting tile in the kitchen side that meets the red oak flooring. I need help choosing the tile!! Has anyone had experience with wood-a-like tiles??

The style of the renovation is "Costal chic" (gotta love these terms!) Cape cod./Nantucket/beachy feel.

I've been wooed to this porcelain tile that looks like wood (don't panic).

I'm going with a more distressed look to the wood (still worry a bit about the REAL red oak meeting a look-alike wood, but I'm still in love with the tile enough. :)

Please tell me what you think about the two color choices.

1. Blue/grey/browns - Cooler palette

I'm concerned about the coolness of the floor - a blue floor? Cold?

2. Brown/dark grey/walnut - Warmer and more traditional

Please help me decide!!

P.S. There will be a 8 foot island dividing the two rooms, with vaulted ceiling, light walls (haven't picked), beadboard ceiling, LOTS of windows on the south and north sides, big farm table, etc.
