everybody makes every color. recommend going for a top quality paint and having it tinted to match. But, be careful with pictures from paint colors. Because printers use a CYMG color process and paints do not, the colors do not reproduce accurately. You and fall in love with a color in a magazine only to find out that the true color of that name is completely different. It is much safer to get the actual color computers matched, rather than relying on the name.

Dreamy, often times you can contact RH and ask them what color it is. In their catalog they will sometimes say, at least I know PB does that. Try calling them and describing the photo or email them a link and see if they can identify it for you. To me it looks too blue to be silver sage, but maybe it's just my monitor. Is it maybe BM Icing on the Cake?

I agree that it's not silver sage. SS is much more green.

If it's in the Restoration Hardware catalogue then it's one of their colors. They sell small sample pots of all of their colors so if you call them, I'm sure you can get it.

Probably from their blue paint line.

Looks like Seafoam to me. If you have a RH store near you, you can get a paint chip, then have the color matched with a different brand paint. That's what we did in our bedroom for one of their darker blues.

For those of you that recommended taking the paint chip to another more affordable paint brand, has your paint turned out like you had expected it to? Were you happy with color and quality of it?

Looks like Silver Sage to me. We just used the BM version in our new build. Sometimes it looks green, sometimes gray, sometimes blue. It really changes with the light. The BM version is called Gray Wisp. I bought a sample of RH silver sage at the store and compared it to the Benjamin Moore. They were the same.

It looks like Atmosphere Blue to me. Take a look at the following thread. There are a couple of nice pale, silvery blues, including one I used in our master bed/bath, which I just love. It is 1619 from Ben Moore (in the post, I mistakenly said Sherwin Wms)

Correction: The color I used in my powder room which looks similar to your picture is Light Silver Sage. It's a silvery blue. There's another color called Glacier in the Silver Sage collection which is a little lighter.

My vote is for Atmosphere Blue.

stephanie93 do you have a picture of your room painted the grey wisp color? Sounds like the kind of color I'm looking for. Priscilla

be aware that the sheen of the paint will affect the color too. The sample you are looking at is most likely flat and the paint in the kitchen will go semi-gloss if not eggshell for washability

Priscilla, Most of my house is painted that color. The back of my house which gets morning sun and has lots of windows. The front hallways get afternoon exposure and less light. I will be happy to take some pics and post.

I did a kitchen for a client last year that took her catalog to Sherwin Williams....they did a color match right off the catalog.

The color of her master suite was beautiful!

In answer to the question about getting other companies colors mixed into top-quality paint.... I have always been very happy with having this done in Ben Moore. 10 years ago, most BM dealers had a computer list of other companies colors (I got a lot of Martha Stewart colors mixed in BM back when she was the only one with interesting, complicated colors available!) and sometimes it was trial-and-error after they did the initial mix. Now, most BM dealers have a computerized color matcher... so they actually feed in a chip (photo, old paint chip, piece of pottery you like, etc) and the computer generates a match. I had this done with an old paint chip, 5-year-old paint I wanted to match- and it did a great job.

BM paints are a dream to work with. I will never use cheap paint for anything other than the chicken coop again!! I've been using their low-VOC Aura lately and like that as well.
