I used that combo in my last remodeled kitchen and it worked great. I don't think you can actually see them in the one pic that is still posted on the FKB, but you can check for the Ebirdy kitchen and see if you can see them. If not, let me know and I probably have reno pics still on my computer. It went fine. We did an ORB faucet, too, and a biscuit colored sink, not stainless.

I haven't chosen any of the hardware yet, so I am open to suggestions. But these are pretty cheapo 1980's cabinets, not as nice as any posted here :) The first picture posted is very nice, but those shaker cabinets have more to them than ours. I don't want a very modern look, I like it in other people's kitchens but it's not what fits in my house. Here's the kitchen shortly after we moved in - the paint job the PO did on the cabinets is horrible and needs to be stripped and re-done. The countertops are now concrete, the dishwasher is a new white one, and I'm putting in white subway tile backsplash... so lots of white I love a bright kitchen. Our home is decorated in traditional-transitional style.

I'm not at the knob/pull phase yet, so forgive my newbie questions. Which are you putting on drawers vs. doors? I would guess the knobs will go on the upper doors and the pulls on the drawers, but knowing would help. Also, for the doors, won't you be putting the hardware near the bottom, not near the top? In any case, I think I would prefer the drawer hardware in the middle of the center panel and the door hardware where #2 is, but upside down. :) And those are lovely knobs; would you please share what they are called and where you got them?

I only did a kitchen "refresh" so my cabinets remained the same. When we moved in they had white "globe" knobs. I replaced those with glass hexagonal knobs. When we did the mini-reno I ended up keeping the glass knobs on the upper cabinets (at the suggestion of a GWebber) and replacing the lower glass knobs on the doors with polished chrome knobs. On the drawers I substituted polished chrome bin pulls. I wanted some shine (good Feng Shui) and also wanted them to match my faucet. I love the different finishes and designs. Hope this helps.
