Yep, that was Mrs. No and I would guess that Sister Marlene can tell you as well why I call her that. I also suppose that everyone's spouse will be a little less concerned about the 'affair' that Marlene and I have and have been having :-) I just wish we could have stayed longer and that it had not been so (*$&(# hot. She and hubby honey have some really neat stuff - and they have a very nice daughter as well in case anyone has a son/grandson that wants their own "Oscar". Does that give her name away!

This thread can open up a real can of worms. 1. Speaking of work: Co-workers who can't clear the remaining time off of the microwave oven after their food is done and they don't need all the time they programmed into it. They also don't cover their food and when it splatters everywhere, and don't wipe up the mess. Co-workers who use the sink as a garbage disposer. Just dump their leftovers and walk away leaving the person who needs to wash their dishes to clean out the drain. Co-workers who eat out and put their leftovers in the fridge for ever and ever, Amen. Hello, who do you think is going to clean it out the magical refrigerator fairy. Even when the refrigerator smells ripe they act like it wasn't their food even though their name is on the container. Even though I really don't want to go to the bathroom habits we have several people who use the stall (you can hear them) then exit the stall and the door. OMG, I am never touching anything you touch again. You just used the bathroom at least splash some water somewhere! One woman at work brings in homemade food all the time and then wonders why nobody eats it. I can go on and on about the laziness in ladies rooms, but it isn't worth my effort or your time. I can say that men should consider themselves lucky. 2. Driving People who don't know what a turn signal is for. I see new cars just off the car lot (temporary tags) who must not have turn signals. Excuse me. Since when are turn signals optional on a car. Are they just on the steering column for decoration? Guess it takes too much effort to reach over and turn it on, or are you on the cell phone? I learned to drive during the "defensive driving campaign" where you were taught if you always let the driver in front of you and the driver behind you know what you are going to do before you do it chances are you won't be in an accident. These are just a few. I could go on and on and on and on. But, I'll spare you all the pain............on second though I'm just too lazy to type anymore. Jenny

i lost my best friend at christmas 2007. we had a fallout earlier that year just after i was the best man at his wedding the previous may. i wrote him a very strong letter and set boundaries with him and that was the last correspondance i had with him, and three months later he was dead. he was 37 years old. because i was very hurt by him prior to our fallout, i immersed myself in my garden which i had just started to plant. this garden virtually has saved me through so much; it is a slice of eden that therapeutically pulls me through the hardships of life (and there have been many). i still feel kinda responsible for his passing - i guess we will never know for sure. i wouldn't have changed anything though where i was concerned. nothing brings me greater joy than digging and planting in the garden with a glass of wine nearby. i do not know how i would get through some of the things in my life without those flowers- i wish i would have discovered the joys of it sooner...

"digging in someone else's trash is a 'good thing'" cj, I just tell myself it's karma. When I was growing up, my mother had a friend who was a florist. One day when my mother drove by Celeste's house/shop, she saw a zillion pots of mums sitting at the curb for the trash man. Celeste told her that the plants had been forced to bloom for football corsages, & that she was finished with them; it was cheaper for her to buy new ones next year than to coddle these over-stressed plants.... & she told my mother to take all the plants she wanted. thought I was gonna die of embarrassment. Every night-before-trash-day, my mother found some reason to run an errand that, coincidentally, took her right past Celeste's shop, & she *always* went through the floral "trash". & would she *ever* go by herself? Noooooo...Sylvia had to go with her. I was mortified, & I swore I'd never do anything like that ever again. Karma hears you when you say things like that.
