Need advice on paint color in bedroom

Our bedroom has mahogany furniture and turquoise/beige/brown bedding. I recently bought brown curtains to match the dark brown on the bedding. I was thinking of doing a darker gray/turquoise on the wall, but am unsure if this is the best way to go. Any advice?

*Our style varies from contemporary to traditional.

*The room isn't large, it's 13X11.

Since you already have so many darker elements in the room, (the furniture and the dark brown curtains), you might want to lean toward a lighter shade, perhaps something like SW Rainwashed

or SW Quietude

Great ideas! I like those colors of the year! I dont have a picture of everything in the room unfortunately because its being prepped for painting.
