Comments (4)Err I wouldn't recommend using water from the washer, surely its loaded with chemicals, also it may have a different pH- I know some systems and/or powders have water softeners built in which would lower the pH making the water more acid....See MoreAny way to make a gray paint look less-blue?
Comments (15)Thanks all! I did go back to the store and have them mess with the color a bit. I think I'm going to like the new color better (I did a quick test splotch) but I don't think I'm going to have enough for a full second coat. I'm actually using this in 2 different rooms so I'll probably use what I have left in one room and figure something out for the other. Sorry it took me so long to respond -- gardenweb was giving me guff when I tried to log in....See MoreWhy are grays so BLUE?!?!
Comments (12)I did cut it on this color but it was even more blue. Cutting formulas never works out the way people expect it to. Most people live with whatever they get because they can't afford to keep buying samples or they just get sick of the process, give up, and live with one of the crap-shoot colors they ended up with. It's rarely because they actually like a color they never even saw before they had to buy it. The one that has been closest to gray is SW Anew but it's too dark for all over and when we went lighter it was even more blue. How did you go about getting SW Anew, just lighter?...See MoreHelp with Exterior Colors
Comments (1)Shutters should look like they could close completely over the windows, and yours don’t so best to remove them. I’d paint the garage door to match the siding. Not sure on front door. Once the shutters are gone you wont have much other color there. One of the colors from the brick? Bright white might be too stark against the more muted siding color. Someone else will have to PS some colors in, sorry....See MoreRelated Professionals
