Looking for a single, wood wall shelf

We don't have space in our dining room for a buffet or sideboard, but I'd like to hang a wood shelf on one wall to sort of act like a sideboard (we'd probably never really use it -- will probably just put a few decorative items on it, and there will be a painting hung over it as well). I found great iron brackets that are 10" deep. Now I'm looking for the shelf to put on it. I want it to be about 12" deep and 40-48" long. Ballard Designs has some, but they're not quite what I'm after. I would like either a "rustic" looking wood (aka antique) or else a very basic Shaker-style cherry shelf. Home Depot has shelves but they're either laminate or pine. I've been keeping my eyes open everywhere I go, and searching online, but I can't find what I'm looking for. Any suggestions?? Thanks!
