Comments (4)cb2.com dwr.com tonichome.com Try searching on line for acrylic and/or clear to widen your search as Lucite is a brand name and may be limiting what you find. I don't know where you are located in Canada, but I'm guessing there are several Toronto antique/vintage stores where you might find acrylic tables....See MoreBlue Velvet Sofa-Room Mostly Done!
Comments (12)I'm in love with the wall on the right. Perfect! I would tweak two things. The first could be due to the picture though. I would center the sofa in the corner. It looks to be more on the left side of the wall. Years ago we had a seating arrangement just like your's. It was my all time favorite. Loved having the sofa in a corner. We'd play cards and such. What I did was put a table in the empty corner behind the sofa and set a lamp & plant there It really helped with the lighting, and served as ambience lighting when we weren't playing games. The lamp and plant also filled up the empty space because it looks like something should go there. Just minor stuff. You did a great job!...See MoreBlue Velvet Sofa Part 2
Comments (18)Ahh, that makes sense. Now that I see the bookshelves I can relax :) I admit, I was looking at the (very attractive) furniture and thinking, "What is there to DO? Twiddle my thumbs?" I know, some people like to sit and talk ... I have to have something to work on or read or ... Something. But now that I see the wall of stuff, I see the room as a great place to chill out and unwind :). I like it even more!...See Morevelvet sofa color...match or compliment?
Comments (19)Sofa comfort is much more than seat depth. It is support, it is pitch, it is springs, cushioning etc. Depth is just one aspect and I can say for fact a sofa can be very deep..........and a total misery for sitting. It may be okay for a sprawl. Nobody sprawled in the mid century, tv was still in it's infancy. A sofa was 36 inches deep. And many of those re interpreted? Still are. Either way, there will be NO Sven look anywhere at that seat depth. It doesn't really work with the style. Perhaps save tufting for the chairs...........multiple length and 46" depth with 108 length below, Arhaus. Comes as small as "petite, 72 " same depth.
