Help selecting engineered wood flooring

We are slowly redoing living areas of our home. Have sofa and chair ordered, paint picked out, and we are going to put down wood floors. The more I read about how to's on wood flooring , the more confused I am. Help!

    mpdwmom, I love the floors but am having problems finding a store near me to see it in person.

    Ilene-84, I also love your floors!

    I am getting confused since I was going to go with Brazilian Cherry Floors again in the less wide board but now wonder if I just want a lighter floor this time that is hard with grain that hides scratches like Hickory has that is not oak. I am tired of oak.
