Shaker Beige or Ashwood Gray?
Comments (54)Hi Jill! I did go with Shaker Beige and posted an update a while back. It looks good with the carpet now but there wasn't enough contrast for me. I don't care for the color on the wall with the wingchair in the morning - it looks pinkish (duh, I know). I put my other brown curtains back up and that helped a lot. It might not be the best color for the room, but I do like it now. I considered repainting but I'm holding off. I plan to make houndstooth plaid pillows and buy a mink fur pilow from Restoration Hardware. I also got rid of the skirted tabled and moved the wingchair and a plant to the right corner. This new arrangement, even though I tried it before, seems the most homey to me. I also added art to the right of the e.stand. I've been meaning to take an updated shot with the brown curtains. I'll try and do that tomorrow. This post was edited by sheesharee on Fri, Nov 15, 13 at 22:30...See MoreHelp with color choices! Grey, beige, or Greige!
Comments (5)amazing gray is a greige.. I have it in our master bath and I can't imagine it clashing with bronze/brown colored windows... it also doesn't show green undertones in our bath- if anything, it will look slightly lavender in certain lights, but not nearly as much a revere pewter did. I doubt if you'll have that problem outside... I would make sure that balanced beige wasn't too pinkish before you decided on that... where will the stone be? the entire front? will the stucco only be in the back?...See MoreSW Balanced Beige + Repose Gray works?

Comments (9)Thank you for replies and i agree it is hard to discuss without pictures i will attach a few but this before pic has the unfinished bookcases that will be white. The tile around is shown and is more gray than brown. The grout is brown similiar to what is on the accent wall. The sofa is not what will be in the room. Waiting for new sifa and chair, gray and blend. Antique coffee table will stay. i will post ahain when completed....See MoreRelated Professionals
