Hi Kahlanne, I think it looks great. The only thing I might change, though it's hard to tell since things always look different in person, is to take the wider frame from the upper left and switch it with the center one of the three in the middle. From what I can tell it would balance the weightier (in "feel") frames. Just from what I can tell. here. You definitely are doing it the right way with both laying them out on the floor and adding paper to the walls.

Thanks Becky! I was wondering about that frame on the left. Not having it on the wall is a little difficult to tell but it did stand out to me too. So you are saying change it with the one turned sideways above the collage frame in the center? I think that may work. Will try it out. Thanks.

I like where they are, but feel that the spacing between is too large. I'd bring them in closer together so they feel more like a unit rather than floating on the wall.

Have you thought about changing out the big chime for a smaller unit? Just a thought.

Thanks for the help budge1. So you think they are floating? Is this from the spacing on the floor? I didn't actually measure them out but laid them close to what I thought was above. The actual spacing on the wall is each frame in each row is about 3 finger widths apart. LOL...can't find tape measure. The spacing between rows are more like 5 finger widths. I worried if I spaced them closer, this would leave even more room to the sides but not a big enough space for a frame. Understand? Do you still think I should look at the spacing again?

Well, I decided to bite the bullet and hang them. I love it! It is so much more than expected! Before showing pics, let me tell you a thing or two. The trim was dh's first try and he did all of it himself. I am so proud. I still have to fill nail holes and caulk etc so don't look too closely. The doors to the children't bedroom have to be rehung too. The door at the end of hallway below welcome sign has to be painted as well. Still much work to be done but it is getting there.

The mirror looks higher than it really is. It is quite large irl and reflects the lighting from the bath, which sad to say is always left on. LOL!
Look at that molding! Dh's first try at molding and he did crown, baseboards, chair rail, and door trim.

This is a special print to me and is on the next wall to the right of the hallway. (same side as the mirror) The print is actually too small and I have another one the same size that is very important that will go beside it later when framed. The second one is of a granny that is feeding the chickens in front of a barn which reminds me of dh's granny.

Following that wall down on the right side of the hall still, is two dog prints above ds's room and another multiple print frame below near the corner. The dogs are paintings of two of our dogs that passed, Marty and Gideon. We are buying other similar size paintings of dogs to place above each doors. There is also a welcome sign at the end of the hallway. (above the door that needs painting.) You see this door and sign at the far end of the hall as soon as you enter.

Now working around the hallway to the right side of the hall. This is the multiple gallery which can only be seen when you enter the hallway, in other words not from the living room.

Lastly a closeup of the single larger frame that is on the right side of the hallway right after you enter from living room. It takes up more space than this pic seems to show. Wonder why?

I also wanted to add a picture of a mirror that I hung in the hall bath that is a work in progress as well. I was hoping to have a beach feel to the room without being too themey. I hung this old window turned mirror across from the vanity. The window came from dh's childhood home that they no longer have. I have had it 17 yrs. I then hung the fun/beachy sign and towels but it wasn't enough. I decided to stick in pics of our trip to the beach this yr. They can easily be changed out each yr or even seasonally. Each member of our family is represented. Bottom left to right: Evie, age 2, posing as always
