Need help with wiring for a pizza dough machine

Hello - I am helping my son in law with his pizza business. He just purchased a dough mixing machine and the plug looks like a number 6-30P ( from what I can find on a NEMA configuration chart via the internet. ) It has two horizontal spade terminals which are lined up with each other and what looks like a standard ground terminal. It is a small plug, maybe an inch and a half or so in diameter. The guy he bought it from said it needed a 30 amp circuit. Is this a 250 volt machine? Any help with how to wire the receptacle would be appreciated. Thank you.
