Placement of Wall Letters

So I have these large capital letter wall letters for my son's nursery and I can't decide if I want to center them over the crib (which shares a wall with a corner-style bookcase - the cribs sits towards the left corner and the corner-style bookcase is in the right corner) or center them n the true center of the wall itself giving me more options to maybe move the bookcase to a different corner and slide the crib towards the center of the room when we convert it to a full-size bed with night stands someday.

I do not know much about children.No babies in my life. Are these wall letters something he might pull off the wall and choke on or will they be painted? I would just have concern of they are vinyl close to the crib.

Not too many decorating decisions are life-long commitments. When you get ready to convert to a full size bed, it will be time to redecorate, and you will likely take down the letters to paint.

So for now, I would hang them over the crib (but at a safe height, as shades of idaho so wisely suggests) and not worry about what you will be doing a year or two from now.

What will they each hang there? Get that stuff out and lay out the spacing accordingly. No sense in guessing when you can use the real stuff.

May want to sketch it out on paper. In the end, you want the center of your art to be around 60-65” from the floor, unless there will be furniture under the shelves, in which case you would want the shelves closer to the furniture. It’s a large area for just a single shelf on each side.

Hmm - I like the small prints a lot too. The spacing is great & their leaf images play nicely with the leafy wreath effect in the script art on left & the tree. And, having only one script art instead of two makes the arrangement less busy for the eyes wanting to read the scripts instead of looking at the nice arrangement as a whole. Sounds like I’ve made my decision that I like your last arrangement the best! So as you & I both know - that’s the beauty of the velcro hangers - we can change our minds & not have walls looking like dart boards!

Hang them over the crib. Use command adhesive and they will pull right off and you can reposition them if need be in a few years!

Of course, if your son is anything like mine, you'll need to repaint by then anyway. ;)
