NEED a sholder,confused,any advise

Hi, there. Here it is, they say god only gives you what you can handle, i'm full, i'm very involved with my son, school,pto,room aid, church sunday school teacher, summer vaction bible teacher, volunteer coach at ymca, 9yrs and in every sport he plays and more. she told me in may she started the paper work for divorce, i was floored, crushed. i had started a candle business, that she didn't approve, but to divorce me over that, i had made money back in three weeks. but only working 5 to 8 hours a week after getting established. i did the majority of the raisen, cleaning, cooking, while is went to school at night.

11yrs. it would of been in march. but she wanted full custody, i said no and judge even time,we didnt workit out?

we tried several months, none she is going for full?why help

(((hugs))) If you wife is determined to get a divorce, there is nothing you can do. Get a GOOD lawyer. Let them know how much of the parenting you've been doing. Yes, being the father does put you at a disavantage. But, if you can prove you've been in the primary parenting position, you have a much better chance of winning custody. My brother did. Good luck.

You know what is always said "what doesn't kill you will make you stronger". Sometimes we prefer the former over the latter but we haven't a choice. I assume you are a Christian but not your wife? Get the GOOD lawyer and get written proof of your parenting position in the past by anyone and everyone you have been in contact with through the years. God works things out for the best but sometimes we don't see His reasons.
Just remember your son is the one who will need you to be strong for him no matter what the circumstances turn out to be. Continue to do all the things you have done in the past for him. He needs to know you are there no matter what.
Get on your knees and I will also for you.
