painting bathroom with black 'chalkboard' paint-ok for moisture?

Our "master" bath is very small and windowless (but with a decent vent that goes to the outside.) Can we paint the walls with the black chalkboard paint? My husband is concerned with the matte finish being porous or absorbing moisture.

we have a stand up shower (no bathtub) and that area is tiled to the ceiling, but of course there may be splashes of water here and there, plus steam from taking hot showers.

I googled images of "chalkboard paint in bathroom" and saw lots of images, but I know that doesn't necessarily mean it is ok to do.

I do not plan on using it as a chalkboard...I just like the matte look. BUT...if I did let people write on it...does it get really messy looking after you erase the writing? Will it never look the same once you write on it?

I won't be able to check this thread until later this week, so thanks in advance!
